Bisphenol-A (BPA) is proven to cause cancer, diabetes and is all around us. We live it, breath it and even bath in it. It causes infertility and the big offender is that it is found in plastic. This film shows how much plastic our kids use, and then we just keep going into adulthood. Most people use plastic drinking bottles every day of their lives and some even refill the plastic bottles. It is not recommended to refill plastic water drinking bottles.
We use plastic in every day household items, baby bottles, plastic packaging for our food, shopping bags and it just keeps going. The film below has some great information.
Chemcials in plastics are known to create breast cancer check this out
It is known within the plastic industry that Bisphenol A (BPA) mimics estrogens, binding to the same receptors throughout the human body as natural female hormones. There are studies (source) stating that the chemical can promote breast cancer growth as well as decrease sperm cell growth.
In a study I found called "Bisphenol A: A Scientific Evaluation, What is the Toxicity of BPA" (source) it states that BPA can very rapidly be excreted in urine within 24 hours; it is important to note this study was based on low dosage amounts. If you are constantly putting this substance into your body then it will cause damage in time however; if you reduce or stop putting the chemical into your body according to that study your body has the ability to get rid of it.
Caution is good, from many articles I read over the years I´ve learnt to just keep away from as many toxic chemicals as I can. In today´s modern society I believe it is next to impossible to live a completely chemical free life however; my idea is to reduce the impact by taking out as much toxicity as possible. Our current water systems have issues; whether it is from plastic bottles, dams or bores - so where ever the source it has to be clean.
Water is vitally important for our good health and should be a part of our regular dietary intake.Click here - learn more about the stainless steel bottles.
